Canada is home to Top universities many of which rank amongst the Top 100 in the world. A general perception is that universities that are ranked in global international rankings are good. As per my experience of working with University of Toronto for several years in a lead administrative role, I can comfortably say that there are several factors which add to the reputation of a university besides just rankings.
Some of the key factors are:
- Quality of professors
- Research facilities
- Library resources
- Science labs
- Class Size
One size doesn’t fit all. Review the programs, facilities, class size and see what makes you comfortable as you are going to spend four years in the university completing your Bachelor degree program.
