There are several clubs and societies that students can be a part of, and mingle with other students. There are often live bands, music festivals and culture events that students can go and enjoy.

While students are at university in Ireland, they are entitled to work up to 20 hours per week in term time, and 40 hours per week in holiday times.
Students are also apply for an extension to their study visa for up to six months after they get their exam results, so they can get work experience.
Admission Requirements and Cost of Study in Ireland
Undergraduate Programs
- GCSE A levels – you must have 4 A levels or 3 A levels + 1 AS level in different subjects from the same year or preceding year only
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma – Mathematics and English must have been studied. Math Studies is not accepted where programmes have specific Math entry requirements.

Postgraduate Programs
- A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of a 2.1 or GPA of 3 out of 4 or GPA 4 out of 5.
Other Entry Requirements: Please note that some programmes will have different/additional entry requirements (e.g. interview, sample piece of writing).
English language requirements
- IELTS (Academic): Grade 6.5 overall
- TOEFL: 88 internet-based, 570 paper-based, 230 computer-based. The test taken here should be TOEFL IBT
- University of Cambridge:
- Proficiency Certificate, Grade C or better
- Advanced Certificate, Grade C or better
- Pearson Test of English (Academic) – PTE Academic: a minimum score of 63 to be eligible (with no section score below 59)

Living Costs: The living cost in Ireland for International Students is approximately €7,000 and €12,000 per year (excluding tuition fees).
