Elizabeth Le is one of the few selected medical students on the MB Ph.D. programme at the University of Cambridge, which combines 6 years of medical school with 3 years of Ph.D. research. Her research involves improving cardiovascular risk prediction with medical imaging and exploring the role of artificial intelligence in medicine. She is based in the Department of Medicine at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, is an affiliated member of the Centre for Mathematical Imaging in Healthcare, and collaborates with the Biomedical Image Analysis Group (BioMedIA) in the Department of Computing at Imperial College London.
