Futures Abroad would like to inform you about our new pro-bono initiative in the form of ‘The Next New‘. Using this, we aim at working towards creating a one stop shop for students to gain mentorship. We will also use the platform to tackle issues like mental health, stress and well being in general, all topics that have majorly been stigmatised in the past.
In light of this, we urge you to join our new workshop in honour of world skills day on the 15th of June, from 06:00 to 06:30PM – Dubai time. Students and parents can both attend and learn about the skills one needs for life AT and AFTER university, to succeed and acquire competencies! We plan on having a panel of graduates, counsellors and parents who will be sharing their tips about which skills they think are most necessary based on their personal experiences. You will also be able to interact and ask questions!
The workshop is in collaboration with the director of Futures Abroad, Ms. Vandana Mahajan, and Ms. Shahana Salman of Gems Schools!
With an ever-changing and more demanding economy, having the necessary skills and being multi-faceted are of utmost importance!
